More Than Just a Pretty Vase: Lavender Lemonade

Fields to refreshing Pocono Organics fresh from the farm lavender makes a beautiful floral arrangement add-in AND unique twist to lemonade.

To make a gallon:

Make your Lavendar “syrup”:

3 cups sugar

4 cups water

Boil until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally.

Add ½ cup honey and 6 tablespoons of culinary lavender buds to your lavender syrup.

Steep for anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on how strong you want the lavender taste to be.

Drain the water through a fine strainer into a one-gallon pitcher.

Add 8 cups of water and 2 cups of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Stir and enjoy!

You can adjust the water and sugar, depending on how sweet (or not!) you like your lemonade!

You may add purple food coloring if the lavender isn’t colorful enough!
